I don’t often visit the US. But I will be there next week at the 9th International Conference on Climate Change, hosted of course by the Heartland Institute and this time in Las Vegas.

The conference opens Monday (July 7, 2014) with a cocktail reception followed by dinner. Tuesday and Wednesday (July 8–9) will kick-off with breakfasts featuring keynote speakers and awards ceremonies followed by sessions, lunch, more keynote speakers and more sessions.
Award winners include astrophysicists Willie Soon and S. Fred Singer.

We all know this is the reason we have an active geological planet, that the ice is melting from beneath, that the sea floors have been changing depth, that volcano's are going off all over, that mud is spewing out of the surface, that wildlife is dying enmasse, and so who in hell do these imbeciles think they are fooling?
Brisbane has just had its coldest temps for 103 years and French Antarctic has just had the coldest June on record. Macca interviewed people this morning about recent cold weather on" OZ all over" and a tanker driver talked about some inland Qld temps last week being the coldest on record. Some mornings down to 4 and 5c below zero.
This was due west from MacKay but I didn't catch the names. He is a driver who carts fuel to mining projects.

Power poles usually only come down if trees fall on lines. If trees fall on roofs well you're cactus but steady cyclonic pressure on double windage panels-on-roofs is a consistent load that will cause a lot of problems that insurance won't necessarily cover.
In a cyclone you need double windage on your roof like Custer needed Indians.
